Emancipation Entertainment has launched Traciana Graves' new album Songs Of A Prodigal Daughter to garner international acclaim. The Harlem born, French raised artist, has received national attention and been nominated for numerous awards including Soul-Patrol’s 2006 Best NuSoul Artist and The XVIII's Songwriter’s Hall of Fame showcase. Traciana’s debut album, “Songs of A Prodigal Daughter”, has been featured as one of Soul Track’s Coveted Pick of the Month during August 2006 and has received WHCR’s Top 30 Best Artists for 2006. At that same time, the word about Traciana’s compelling gift to inspire others through lectures, workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions, has gotten out! She has inspired many clients with her innovative style and discussion topics: “Embracing Multiculturalism And Diversity” and on “Living Your Dream: Being Fully Expressed in One’s Uniqueness”. |
“Songs of A Prodigal Daughter”
Traciana’s ability to cut across genres with her music is testament as her CD “Song’s of a Prodigal Daughter” has found a home in many genres; including Soul, World, Jazz and Folk radio stations. Her own embracing of multiculturalism and individual diversity has led her to give voice to a unique sound that she aptly describes as “Soul-World-Folk.”
During the past year Traciana has toured extensively. She has built a diverse and passionate fan bas with a series of shows in places such as Ashford and Simpson's Sugar Bar in Manhattan, The Cutting Room, The Sidewalk Café, Gumbo Live in Massachusetts, Franks Lounge in Brooklyn, The Brooklyn Best Festival, the African Cultural Festival in Philedelpahia, The UpSouth Festival at Aaron Davis Hall, London’s The 12 Bar, Paris’ Les Trois Maillets, Memphis’ National Folk Alliance and San Francisco’s legendary Sweetwater, among many other Venues. Traciana has also played at the 2006 South by Southwest music conference where she was featured as the opening act for Melissa Ferrick.
